Dr. West and J. Dian West, RN recently returned from traveling to Kansas where they completed regenerative medicine training with Enso Doctors. The mission of Enso Doctors is to enhance the lives of people through the development of novel, affordable and easy to use medical technology and to offer a wide range of innovative and affordable medical solutions with an emphasis on regenerative products.

New Covered Service Part III:
Platelet rich plasma is a non-toxic, non-immune substance that comes from a patient’s own blood. Platelets are naturally occurring cells in the bloodstream and contain a variety growth factors that promote tissue healing and regeneration. Platelet rich plasma is delivered to injured tissues including muscles, tendons, ligaments and joints to stimulate healing and tissue regeneration.

Platelet rich fibrin is a platelet concentrate where platelets, growth factors, and cells are bonded within a fibrin matrix that serves as a resorbable membrane and is utilized in wound repair.

Platelet rich plasma is also utilized in aesthetic medicine. PRP stimulates collagen production and improves skin tone and texture to promote facial skin rejuvenation. A PRP Facial combines the effects of PRP and microneedling where a microneedling device is used to create thousands of microchannels directly into the dermis and provide a method of infusing a patient’s skin with their own growth factors.
