Dr. Zachary K. West participated in the Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine Continuing Medical Education Course, “Pediatric Manual Medicine”.
The course was designed for Doctors of Osteopathic Medicine (DOs) who work with pediatric patients and want to apply safe, effective manual techniques across various stages of development. Attendees built diagnostic and palpatory skills necessary to assess and treat somatic dysfunction in children presenting with conditions such as asthma, latching issues, otitis media, GERD/colic, torticollis and plagiocephaly.
The course was led by Lisa DeStefano, DO.
