What is Direct Primary Care?
Direct Primary Care (DPC) is an alternative payment and practice model for primary care services. The focus of a DPC practice is putting the personal relationship back into patient care which includes access to your actual physician. DPC physicians offer services for a flat monthly rate instead of a traditional fee for service arrangement. DPC physicians do not file insurance claims. Instead, DPC physicians work directly with the patient instead of the insurance corporations to offer increased access to care, faster scheduling, more time with your physician, and better and more cost effective options for medications, labs, imaging studies, and more.
