Dr. Zachary K. West participated in the Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine Continuing Medical Education Course, “A Manual Medicine Approach to the Treatment and Management of Migraines and Headaches”.
The course involved training in comprehensive patient assessment and neurological examination, a review of migraine and headache pathophysiology along with current evidence-based treatments, a review of cranial anatomy and, finally, osteopathic manual medicine techniques for the diagnosis and treatment of migraines and headaches.
The course was led by Lisa DeStefano, DO and Jon Marshall, Osteopathic/Acupuncturist from Singapore.
